Arrival at Ranthambore National Park
Arrive at Ranthambore National Park, one of India's premier tiger reserves located in Rajasthan. Transfer from Sawai Madhopur railway station or Jaipur airport (approximately 3.5 hours from Jaipur). Check into your comfortable wildlife resort nestled near the park. After lunch and some rest, enjoy a guided nature walk around the resort area to spot birds and smaller wildlife like peacocks, deer, and monkeys. Full Day Wildlife Safari Experience
Early morning jungle safari (6:00 AM) in Ranthambore National Park in an open-top canter or gypsy vehicle. The park is home to approximately 70 Bengal tigers, along with leopards, sloth bears, striped hyenas, sambar deer, chital, nilgai, and wild boars. Your expert naturalist guide will help spot wildlife and explain animal behavior. The park's diverse landscape includes dry deciduous forests, grasslands, and lakes. After the morning safari, return to the resort for breakfast and relaxation. Afternoon safari (3:00 PM) in a different zone of the park to maximize wildlife sighting opportunities. Visit the historic Ranthambore Fort, a UNESCO World Heritage Site located within the park, offering panoramic views and ancient temples. Evening wildlife documentary screening at the resort, followed by dinner and sharing safari experiences with fellow travelers.
Final Morning Safari and Departure
Final early morning safari (6:00 AM) for your last chance to spot the elusive Bengal tiger and other wildlife. The park has over 300 species of birds including crested serpent eagles, painted storks, and Indian grey hornbills, making it a paradise for bird watchers and photographers. Ranthambore's lakes - Padam Talao, Raj Bagh Talao, and Malik Talao - are excellent spots for wildlife sightings, especially during summer months when animals come to drink. After the safari, return to the resort for breakfast and check-out. If time permits, visit the nearby Trinetra Ganesh Temple located within the Ranthambore Fort, believed to be one of the oldest Ganesh temples in Rajasthan. Transfer to Sawai Madhopur railway station or continue to your next destination (Jaipur or Delhi) with amazing wildlife photographs and unforgettable memories of India's incredible biodiversity.
